Yard Maintenance

The following steps are necessary when preparing to cut the grass:
  1. Police the yard for sticks and twigs
  2. Police the yard for children's toys
  3. Check the oil in the mower
  4. Check the gas in the mower

NOTE: Be sure to always use regular unleaded gasoline in your mower. Diesel fuel and leaded gasolines will harm or foul the engine; use of high-octane unleaded gasolines is an unnecessary expense.

  1. Press the primer button three times
  2. Set the throttle to medium
  3. Pull the ignition cord
  4. When the mower starts, adjust the throttle as desired
  5. Release the safety handle to stop
